The children in key stage 1 got a bit of a surprise this morning as they walked into school. It seemed that they had found themselves in Chinatown, Stowell Street, Newcastle! The top corridor had been magically transformed over the weekend. There is now a Chinese restaurant outside Miss Fletcher's and Mrs Nealings' room!
As well as a Chinese restaurant, we have a Chinese writing area, Chinese dressing up area, Chinese exercise area and an area with books and laptops to find out even more about China. This is to support our new creative project all about China which will continue over the next two weeks. We can't wait to visit Chinatown during our lessons!
