Celebrating the end of SATs!
It has been a tough week in Year 6 but the children have coped with the SATs brilliantly (the sausage sandwiches at breakfast club certainly helped!!) This afternoon they celebrated the end of SATs in style with their Reception Special Friends, they certainly deserved a party! Well done to you all!

Outdoor play in Nursery
We have fun learning outside at Nursery. We dig in the garden, we play on the bikes and scooters. We slide fast on the slide. We build models with the construction toys.

Easter hunt fun!
Years 5 and 6 took part in a Science Easter egg hunt and had a great time searching for clues around school, learning about reversible and irreversible changes and eventually eating chocolate eggs (the hard work was worth it in the end!)

Time Capsule
Today was a very special day at St Augustine's as we buried our time capsule in the foundations of our new build. Father Ciaran came to celebrate with us and to bless the land upon which the new building will stand. Preparing the time capsule was very exciting. We put lots of different items in showing life at St Augustine's in 2009. When the building is complete a plaque will show where the time capsule was buried. We hope that in years to come somebody will find our time capsule and learn all about us.
